Text mode supports Unicode text in any language, including emoji. Counts use UTF-8 bytes; the 2-byte QR encoding overhead is included in capacity.

Private channel settings

Set edits to 0 for padding only. Hybrid mode requires private RS and a noise reserve. Auto selects the smallest version for both payloads; correction and private-channel settings stay fixed.

Keep this key to recover the private bytes. Requests are processed by this Worker; payloads and keys are not stored by the application.

GENERATED · IMAGE · CAMERA

Read the current QR directly, upload a file, or scan a code with your camera. Ordinary QR contents are decoded locally.

Allow camera access when prompted. No audio is requested. Camera frames stay in this browser; scanning stops after the first readable QR. A key is needed only for private recovery.

Recovered bytes appear here after verification.
